Vinny DeRenzis
(Lead vocals, keys, guitar, bass, drums, harmonica)
Vinny DeRenzis hails from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. His musical awakening came early, at just seven years old, when he first heard – you guessed it – The Beatles! It was the spark that set ablaze an unquenching thirst for all things music, particularly classic rock. He spent his adolescence practicing every instrument he could get his hands on (or that his parents could afford) and mercilessly tried to learn each guitar riff, drum groove and lyric to every song he heard. This would lay the foundation for what would become a rewarding career in music.
The powerhouse lead vocalist for Magical Mystery Doors got his professional start after graduating from West Chester University in 2010. Honing his on-stage persona in successful Philadelphia cover bands and playing all across the East Coast, Vinny’s passion for performing only grew stronger, as did his reputation. It is truly fitting that Vinny’s musical journey would come full circle, leading him to front the world’s most visionary tribute to The Beatles—who lit the flame—Led Zeppelin—who inspired him most on guitar—and The Doors—whose brilliant poetry has influenced his own songwriting. This act highlights Vinny’s passion for rock and roll performance as well as his uncanny vocal resemblance to the all-powerful Robert Plant.
Brendan Marro
(Lead guitar, vocals)
Brendan Marro is a guitarist and singer whose sound blends vintage inspiration with a modern edge. Growing up in a pop-dominated landscape, he found himself drawn instead to the music his father played at home and an early obsession with The Beatles. The raw power and honesty of classic rock always felt like home, and that spirit continues to shape his performances today.
He first cut his teeth in South Jersey’s hardcore scene before carving out a place in the Philadelphia cover circuit, where long nights on stage sharpened both his skills and presence. That foundation led to steady work as a touring musician in tribute acts and cover projects, where Brendan brings timeless songs to life with authenticity and passion. Known for his versatility and natural stage chemistry, he has earned a reputation as a performer who makes every show feel alive.
When he’s not traveling to play shows, Brendan can often be found bass fishing, a quiet counterbalance to life on the road. Both on stage and off, his world is a mix of motion and stillness, of loud guitars and peaceful waters—and that balance continues to guide his musical journey.
Eric Henkels
(Keys, vocals, guitar, bass, saxophone)
Eric Henkels hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and comes from a family of professional musicians, making his path almost inevitable. He began piano at age 3, saxophone at 8, and guitar at 11, performing in school ensembles, training classically, and exploring everything from jazz to hard rock.
His musical direction locked in when he received The Beatles’ Rubber Soul on CD in 1996. He became a devoted Beatles fan, learning their entire catalog throughout his childhood and eventually performing in his first paid band, a small Beatles tribute based out of his dad’s music store in Hatboro, PA. From there, Eric moved into original music, touring nationally and overseas, showcasing for labels like Island and Universal, and opening for acts such as The Script, Parachute, Mae, Matt and Kim, and The Early November. He later became a fixture in the Northeast cover scene with bands like Go Go Gadjet and Burnt Sienna, and also launched a dueling-pianos act called Piano Fight Club. In 2024, he officially joined Magical Mystery Doors.
Having played nearly every style and stage imaginable, Eric is thrilled to return to the classic rock that shaped him. Whether channeling Ray Manzarek’s tones or ripping Zeppelin riffs, his lifelong love of The Beatles remains unmistakable—especially when he hits songs like “Helter Skelter” or “Let It Be.” Eric brings nonstop energy onstage and crucial production work offstage, helping shape the show’s unique vibe. He loves meeting fans after shows and hopes to meet many more as MMD continues its journey.
Mikey Intelisano
(Drums, vocals)
Mikey Intelisano is a lifelong drummer and musician from Reading, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by live music through his father’s involvement in local bands, he picked up the sticks at just five years old and never looked back. His passion grew through school music programs and eventually led him to study Music Business at Lebanon Valley College, where he further developed both his craft and his understanding of the industry.
He’s currently the drummer for Magical Mystery Doors, a project he joined at its start in 2019. The drummers from the three iconic bands represented in the show were early influences on his playing, shaping the dynamic style he brings to every performance. Before MMD, Mikey spent nearly fifteen years as a founding member of Go Go Gadjet, touring extensively and earning a reputation for energized, precise, and passionate playing. His work also extends into the studio, with some of his recorded drumming featured on American Pickers and other shows on the Discovery network.
Beyond the stage, Mikey stays grounded through time outdoors and moments with his family, especially his kids. Grateful for every opportunity to make music with friends, he continues to bring the same excitement to his career that he felt as a child discovering the drums for the first time.
Greg Reigle
(Bass, guitar, vocals, drums)
Greg Reigle is a veteran rock musician whose unmistakable groove and seasoned stage presence come from more than 35 years on the Philadelphia circuit. Inspired at just eight years old by his sister’s record collection—stacked with the raw energy of KISS, David Bowie, and Iggy Pop—Greg picked up an instrument and never looked back.
Over the decades, he became a fixture in Philly’s cover-band scene, known for his versatility, tight musicianship, and ability to elevate any lineup he joined. His career nearly took a major turn when he was tapped to become drummer for Jake E. Lee, but the onset of the pandemic forced the project to a halt. Rather than slowing down, Greg redirected his focus and continued carving out his place in live music.
Today, Greg holds down the low end for Magical Mystery Doors, bringing his rock-solid bass work to a unique fusion of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors. With a lifetime of gigging experience and a musical foundation built on classic rock legends, he remains dedicated to delivering powerful, high-energy performances every time he hits the stage.
